What is GRAIN & PAPER
It began with a simple belief: photographs deserve more than a brief life in the camera roll. They deserve a wall, a shelf, a conversation, and time.
I’m Tom Kluyver, a London-based analogue photographer and the person behind Film Reasons. Grain & Paper is the physical extension of my photographic practic and a way to move images from the screen into the spaces where they can be held, lived with, and returned to.
Each month, I select one photograph from the Film Reasons archive, print it on archival fine-art paper, and send it as an object to keep.
